What this site is
CalcSolver is a free online scientific calculator and a set of focused math tools for school and self-study. It runs in your browser at solvecalc.live. You do not need an account to use the calculator or the listed tools.
The site is operated by SolveCalc. Similar product names appear on other domains; those projects are separate. Always check the address bar to confirm you are on solvecalc.live.
What we built it for
Students and teachers often need a quick scientific calculator that shows the full sum, works on locked-down school devices, and does not force a download. CalcSolver keeps calculation on your device, stores optional history and scratch notes in local browser storage only, and pairs the keypad with short study guides for common pitfalls (degrees vs radians, percent keys, floating-point quirks).
How calculations work
- Expressions are evaluated in your browser — not on a remote math server.
- On-screen results are rounded to 10 significant digits so tiny floating-point noise is less distracting.
- The percent key follows a post-fix model documented on the homepage: Postfix % divides by 100 (e.g. 200 + 15% = 200.15). For 15% more than 200, use 200 × 1.15.
- Formula cards and examples are checked against standard algebra and trigonometry references used in secondary-school math. Last review: October 2, 2026.
Privacy in short
