Privacy Policy

This policy describes practices for CalcSolver published at solvecalc.live.

Last updated: October 2, 2026

Operator: SolveCalc. Contact: solvecalclive@gmail.com.

Summary

  • No account is required to use the calculator or listed math tools.
  • Calculations run in your browser. We do not operate a remote math-evaluation API that receives your expressions.
  • Optional history and scratchpad text are stored in your browser's local storage on your device.
  • If you email us, we process the content of that message so we can respond.

Information stored on your device

Depending on features you use, the site may store data locally, including:

  • Calculator history entries
  • Scratchpad / notes text
  • Theme preference (light or dark)
  • Game Mode unlock and related preference flags (if you use that feature)

This data stays in your browser unless you clear site data, use private browsing policies that discard storage, or we change the product and disclose a different practice here.

Information we may receive through normal web hosting

Like most websites, our hosting or content-delivery provider may automatically collect technical request data such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, and requested URLs in server logs. We use that kind of data only for security, reliability, and diagnosing outages — not to build personal learning profiles.

Accounts and personal details

CalcSolver does not require you to create an account or provide your name, school, or phone number to calculate. If you contact us by email, you choose what to include in the message.

Cookies and advertising

As of October 2, 2026, this policy does not claim third-party advertising networks or analytics suites. If we add them later, we will update this page before or when they go live and describe what they store.

Children's privacy

The site is intended as a general education tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children to create profiles. Classroom use should follow your school's rules. Prefer school-managed browsers when required by local policy.

Third-party game embeds

Optional Game Mode may load third-party game pages inside an embed or open them in a new tab. Those destinations have their own privacy practices. Review a game host's policy if that matters for your classroom.

Your choices

  • Clear this site's data in your browser settings to remove local history and notes.
  • Email solvecalclive@gmail.com to ask questions about this policy.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
