Important limits on how you should rely on CalcSolver.

Last updated: October 2, 2026

Educational use only

CalcSolver on solvecalc.live is a learning and practice aid. It helps you explore expressions, check homework-style problems, and understand common calculator quirks. It is not a substitute for your teacher, textbook, exam board rules, or licensed professionals.

Accuracy and floating-point limits

Computers store many decimals approximately. Tiny leftovers (for example after trigonometric calculations near multiples of π) can appear in intermediate values. The on-screen display rounds to 10 significant digits, which usually hides that noise — but you should still sanity-check answers that matter.

Do not rely on this site alone for high-stakes decisions

  • Money, taxes, payroll, or investment math
  • Engineering, construction, lab, or safety calculations
  • Medical dosing or health measurements
  • Exam submissions where a specific device or mode is required

For those cases, use tools and procedures approved by the relevant authority, and double-check by hand or with a second trusted method.

Percent and mode behavior

Calculator keys are not universal across brands. Our percent behavior is documented on the homepage: Postfix % divides by 100 (e.g. 200 + 15% = 200.15). For 15% more than 200, use 200 × 1.15. Always confirm you are in degrees or radians as required by the problem.

Third-party content

Optional Game Mode may show games hosted elsewhere. We do not control those hosts. Play and classroom policies for those sites are your responsibility.
